About Us

Double Exposure

After several years working together on a variety of projects, Russ and Heidi decided the timing was perfect to create a new company. In 2013 Double Exposure Photography was formed to combine the talents each of them have to offer. By joining their two studios (Heidi Zsupnik Photography and RW Photography) their clients receive the benefits that two professional photographers bring to the table. Their unique backgrounds combine perfectly to create an all-around photo experience. Heidi has a strong background in art and business whereas Russ brings over 20 years of experience in technology. They both have had a love of photography since childhood and are excited to make Double Exposure Photography your choice for your next event.

After several years of shooting weddings together. This past July was our favorite wedding of all, our own. We are blessed to not only share our love of photography together, but now we get to share our lives together. When friends become family, anything is possible!

Heidi Zsupnik

Heidi Zsupnik's love for photography began at a young age in her grandparent’s photography studio in downtown Chico, Ca. Some of her fondest memories from childhood were hanging out in the dark room with her grandfather, running around their studio, and acting as their little model. As she grew older she realized she shared their same passion for the art. As co-owner of Artistic Impression from 1994-2000, Heidi continued to develop her business background. However, it was through scrapbooking where her path to becoming a photographer blossomed. When the scrapbooking industry began implementing digital technologies a decade ago, digital photography became a big part of Heidi's life. She quickly began touring the country visiting photography workshops and trainings. She opened Heidi Zsupnik Photography in 2006 and specialized in seniors portraits, families and weddings.

Russ Hendrickson

Russ Hendrickson was born in Spokane, WA. He studied photography after high school at Spokane Falls Community College for two years before he moved to Missoula, MT to attend the University of Montana. There he completed a Bachelor's Degree in mathematics and a Master's degree in Educational Leadership. He currently is the Senior Information Systems Manager for Missoula County Public Schools. Russ was a football and wrestling coach for 19 years. It was through coaching where he returned to his love of photography. He began taking sports pictures for his own teams and senior pictures of many of his athletes. As his students began to graduate from high school he began taking photos at many of their weddings. His company RW Photography specialized in senior pictures, sports photography and weddings.
